Our Story
Texas EDM was founded on the vision and combined expertise of our founders, Ayder Young and Dan Young. With Ayder’s strong background in manufacturing and Dan’s deep specialization in EDM and Tool and Die, we began our journey in Auburn, WA. In those early days, our focus was on manufacturing progressive stamping dies for the Aerospace Industry—a field where precision and quality are everything.
As our experience grew, so did our ambition. We eventually made a strategic move to Stafford, TX, opening the door to a new chapter in our company’s evolution. It was here that we chose to expand our services beyond stamping dies, shifting toward a full range of EDM capabilities.
This expansion included Wire EDM, Small Hole EDM, and complete machining services such as CNC Milling and custom Fixtures. That shift was a turning point—it allowed us to serve a broader range of industries and take on more complex, high-precision work.
Today, Texas EDM reflects the dedication and foresight that Ayder and Dan brought to the table from the very beginning. Our journey from a die shop in Washington to a comprehensive EDM solutions provider in Texas is a story of adaptability, craftsmanship, and a commitment to delivering excellence with every part we make.
