Ayder Young is the President at Texas EDM, Inc. With over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, she brings a strong passion for precision and a deep commitment to helping clients bring their ideas to life. Ayder launched the company alongside her husband and business partner, combining her business insight with his technical expertise in machining and tool and die design. Under her leadership, Texas EDM has grown into a trusted partner for wire EDM and CNC milling services, known for delivering high-quality, complex components with exceptional accuracy. Ayder is also driven by a strong desire to create opportunities in her community—mentoring new talent and building a team that shares her dedication to craftsmanship, service, and continuous improvement.

Alex has several years of experience in EDM machining, Alex combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of precision manufacturing. His hands-on knowledge and steady approach make him a key part of our shop’s success. As our EDM Programmer/Technician, Alex is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating wire EDM machines to produce high-precision components. His strong attention to detail and deep understanding of manufacturing allows him to take on complex and demanding projects with confidence. He shares his experience with others, helping train and mentor newer team members along the way. His dedication, skill, and work ethic have made a lasting impact on our company.

Natalie is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in Marketing, applying her academic knowledge directly to her role. Natalie is our Sales and Marketing Manager, bringing focus and creativity to how we communicate our work and connect with potential customers. She leads our outreach efforts, develops marketing materials, and supports our overall branding strategy. Her forward-thinking mindset and commitment to excellence makes her an essential part of our team.

Dan Young is the co-founder of Texas EDM, Inc. and brings over four decades of hands-on experience in EDM machining, tool and die design, and high-precision manufacturing. He began his career at just 18 years old and quickly developed a reputation for his deep technical knowledge and craftsmanship. With a strong foundation in designing and building progressive stamping dies for the aerospace industry, Dan helped launch Texas EDM in Auburn, WA, alongside his wife and business partner, Ayder Young. His expertise shaped the company's early focus and laid the groundwork for its growth into a full-service precision machining shop. Today, Dan leads engineering and technical operations. His commitment to precision, innovation, and problem-solving continues to drive the quality and performance Texas EDM is known for.

Virna plays a vital role in our day-to-day operations and is deeply committed to fostering a productive and collaborative work environment. As an EDM Technician, Virna supports the setup and operation of our wire EDM machines, assisting with part preparation, shop organization, and machining tasks. In addition to her technical role, she supports a wide range of responsibilities—ensuring that our shop runs smoothly and efficiently. Her versatility, reliability, and commitment to excellence make her an essential part of our team.

Brooke graduated from Texas State University in May 2022. As our Manufacturing Systems Lead, Brooke plays a key role in streamlining our processes, maintaining workflow efficiency, and ensuring our systems run smoothly from start to finish. Her attention to detail and ability to adapt make her an essential part of our day-to-day operations. Brooke brings fresh insight and organization to the team, helping us continuously improve how we operate. She’s passionate about problem-solving and works closely to keep things moving efficiently and effectively. Brooke’s dedication makes her a vital part of our continued success.
